About the founder, Dr. Vanessa Ruiz
Founded by Dr. Vanessa Ruiz, Nurses for Natural Health is a dedicated organization committed to promoting holistic, natural approaches to healthcare. Dr. Ruiz is a highly respected Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Nurse with a passion for blending traditional nursing care with natural and integrative medicine.
Dr. Ruiz began her healthcare journey as a nurse, and while working in the field, she recognized a growing need for natural treatment options for her patients. This insight led her to pursue a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she honed her expertise in evidence-based, holistic healthcare.
In her private Naturopathic Clinic, Dr. Ruiz provides personalized, patient-centered care that integrates conventional and naturopathic therapies. Her approach focuses on addressing the root causes of health issues and promoting overall wellness.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Ruiz is a sought-after speaker at conferences across the United States, where she shares her knowledge on Integrative Mental Health and advocates for a more comprehensive, natural approach to healthcare. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the Arizona Trauma Institute, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
