Therapeutic Yoga for Nurses

Discover how to support nervous system healing, reduce burnout, and confidently guide others with our Therapeutic Yoga for Nurses program.

Designed specifically for nurses, this 22-contact-hour training goes beyond personal practice. You will learn how to apply therapeutic yoga principles in clinical and wellness settings—supporting both your own regulation and the patients, groups, or communities you serve.

This program blends restorative yoga, breathwork, meditation, and therapeutic movement with practical application for nursing care. It is grounded in both modern science and holistic frameworks, giving you tools that are both intuitive and clinically relevant.

Yoga is not about performance—it is about regulation and awareness.
When your system is steady, your capacity to hold space, respond with clarity, and guide others expands naturally.

This is where personal practice becomes professional application.

Led by Jim Keegan, biomechanist and functional movement specialist, and Dr. Vanessa Ruiz, ND, RN-BSN, this program offers a structured, evidence-informed pathway for nurses ready to deepen their work.

You will earn 22 contact hours approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) while developing the confidence to begin facilitating therapeutic yoga experiences in a way that is safe, ethical, and aligned with nursing practice.
